I’m a Chattanooga native and a longtime advocate and investor focused on the revitalization of downtown. My dedication to this cause has earned me the nickname "Downtown Darlene Brown."
In the ‘90s, while living and working downtown, long before most would consider visiting, I led the transformation of Lovemans into downtown’s first successful residential development. From my downtown residence, I would often gaze out at what resembled a ghost town in the evening, yet I believed in the city’s potential. Instead of dark, empty streets, I envisioned a vibrant downtown where people could live, work, and play.
After 30 years in the real estate industry, I opened my own brokerage on the bottom floor of Lovemans. Along with my business partner & son Ryan, we’ve expanded the brokerage to encompass three offices and over 165 agents. We’re honored to collaborate with our partners - many of the best in the business.
Throughout my 40+ year career, I have held nearly every position at Greater Chattanooga REALTORS®, including President and Real Estate Agent of the Year. I am particularly proud to have received the 2023 Good Neighbor Award for raising over $101,000 for Wreaths Across Chattanooga.
Together with our team, I continue to use my experience to invest in, market, and sell developments throughout our city.
